Always A Bridesmaid - I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change

Brittany performs her first version of Always A Bridesmaid from the Broadway Musical “I love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change.” She performed this piece numerous times and in this instance it was during a Drama Show in 2006. She prepared this piece for the District Drama Competition where she recieved a superior for her performance.
Well, I’ve walked down the aisle
As much as Liz Taylor
But I’ve always stood off to the side
Each bride has me dressed
In a gown I detest
Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.
For Caitlin, I wore satin
Which I looked really fat in.
Then again, you should have seen her man Ken;
All those calories he logged up
Til his arteries clogged up
He died on the couch watching ESPN.
Too many weddings, too many dresses
That all make my hips look so wide.
Not a gown I’d reuse
Ditto the matching shoes;
Always a bridesmaid
Never a bride.
For Tabitha, I wore taffetta
You should never people laugh at ya
But I had a hunch her marriage was doomed.
The groom tried to stroke me
While we danced the Hokey Pokey
They divorced before the honeymoon.
Once my gown was velourish
Made me look kind of whorish
But my best friend Delores
Was never quite sane
She shot her new mister
Cuz he bedded her sister
He’s not dead, but now he walks like John Wayne.
Too many weddings, too many dresses,
That all make my hips look so wide
My friends can’t ess
A man or a dress
Always a bridesmaid
Never a bride.
When I look in my closet,
There’s a rainbow deposit
Of gowns so grotesque that I groan
All those husbands are gone,
But those dresses live on,
Even moths seem to leave them alone.
Too many weddings, too many messes
But at least I’ve hung on to my pride.
I’ve lived life alone, but the terms are my own.
Always a bridesmaid, (thank you Lord!)

An Iraqi journalist has thrown his shoes at George Bush, the US president, in his last visit to Baghdad, shouting: “This is a goodbye kiss from the Iraqi people, dog.”
One of the shoes narrowly missed the president’s head and slammed into the wall behind him.
Nuri al-Maliki, the Iraqi prime minister, tried to block the second with his arm.
Throwing shoes at somebody is a supreme insult in the Middle East.

I have a pair and yes they are really comfy. They might not be stylish b/c ppl pick exoctic colors, so pick a color that will go w/most of ur clothes. They are more comfrotable than Birkenstocks (I have those too and they hurt after wearing them all day)

Is it wrong to buy leather shoes, leather clothes? If I wear it will people who are against making clothes from animals hate me?
Well I'm vegetarian and I don't have a problem with leather coz other people eat the meat so the animal wasn't just killed for the leather,, assuming we're talking about cows

are ES’s good skate shoes?

they are great for skating and are gripy. My favorite is the Square One's but they don't last very long. They are make the same way as Etnies and have great boardfeel, grip, and comfort but the suede ripps in about 2 weeks depending how hard you skate. Defininatly a great shoes but not durable
What are the best baby shoes for my girl to learn to walk in?

I am wondering what kinda of shoes that would be good for her to learn to walk with approprite traction and being able to feel the ground through the shoes and all that jazz. What kinds did you try? i have looked at striderite, robeeze and those kinds of shoes. what else is good?
at home she wears her bare feet but for going out we need something that is durable enough to walk on hard ground, but nice enough for her to like shoes.
The best shoes I've found is from Stride Rite. The sole is very soft, unlike any other shoes you'll find. They are pricey though, but well worth it. They have shoes for different levels, crawlers, cruisers…etc.
