I was wondering because I am one, and it’s not mentioned on the website, and a lot of kids at school wear Converse which isn’t sold at many stores nearby, so it must be sold at Off Broadway, which isn’t too far. So are Converse all-star for kids sold there?

ok, here is the deal. my boyfriend was caught at a attempt of cheating with my best friend that lives a whole state away! i called him yesterday and told him i knew and who i was cause he doesn’t know my number and he knew he was screwed so he hung up every time, then he threatened to call the cops on me if i called again. (keep in mind i called only 4 times before he said that) and i was hoping to go back to school, in a way that i wont get in trouble for what i am wearing, and he will regret even trying to cheat on me.
before this happened, i knew he was going to break up with me on the first day of school, so i grew in my hair, lost a lot of weight, my face cleared up, and i have a figure,basically, after this happened, i want him to suffer.
so now its up to you. what should i wear to complement my newly found figure and face?
KEEP THIS IN MIND!!! i am not shopping for a whole new wardrobe, it has to be cheap, and in style. my parents refuse to take one step into hot topic, and things at the mall, tend to be really expensive. so if possible, keep to target, wall mart, shoe carnival, off broadway shoes, etc. ok! bye
First off, I think a cute-but-school-friendly skirt would be a great piece to impress anyone if that’s your style and you are confident in your legs. Remember to keep it longer than the tips of your fingers when your arms are straight down. Walmart had some really cute, shorter-length layered skirts in a buunch of different colors and patterns last I checked, so you could use something like that and sharpen it up with a nice, complimentary solid on top. One of the best basics to have is a nice white button-down dress shirt. You could leave it unbuttoned and where your favorite cami or tank underneath. this type of look tends to show off nice curves and a little bit of leg, which is a great way to impress a guy. You can either wear a pair of low heels or cute flats, or even sneakers to show some spunk.
If you’re not into skirts or dresses and what-not, a good pair of jeans can go a long ways. With them, you can look casual any day but you can also dress up without looking like you’re trying too hard. Cute flats are a good way to do that, whether they’re colorful ones or just a basic black or brown. You can always add a nice top that pulls in at the waist to show off your shape, or a cute tee with a modest V-neck.
Lastly, my opinion on this whole situation is that no matter what you wear or how you look, he’s still not going to fall back in love instantly. We all kind of wish it could happen that way, but life doesn’t. Guys tend not to care what girls wear, anyways, unless it’s something that shows off a little too much chest or if its an extremely short pair of shorts or skirt.
My advice to you is that if he can’t be man enough to speak to you before breaking up with you, he’s not worth your time. Keep in mind that you still have a few more years of schooling and that guys come and go, but your friends should be more important than any of them. I know how bad it sucks to have a guy cheat on you, but by being the more mature one you can feel free to move on to someone who will treat you better.

Playwright Tom Eyen’s hilarious acceptance speech for the Tony Award for Best Book for the Broadway musical “Dreamgirls”. Robert Goulet (who goofs by calling the show “Dreamfingers”) presents Eyen the award at the Guthrie Theatre, February 1, 1982.
The audio is difficult to decipher, due to Eyen’s rapid speech pattern and the quality of the audio. Here is a transcript:
I had this idea about 8 years ago (1974), you know. I’d done a lot of plays Off Broadway, you know, down there, Off-Off Broadway. So it was time to do a Broadway show, you know. So, I had this idea and I, you know, I took my little box and I went uptown and I said, “Uh, hey,” to the first guy who was gonna help me, “Hey, I got this idea,” and he said, “I got a better one for you. Faust is a Broadway musical, OK?.” I said, “What, Faust?” He said, “Yeah, maybe sell his soul for a pair of tap shoes.” “Uh-uh,” I said, “I got my own ideas.” He said, “No,” - closed the door.
So I went to another man. I said, “You’re a producer. You can help me.” He said, “But I have this old movie, I got this great old movie (”It Should Happen To You”) about, you know, about the woman who buys this big poster on, you know, Times Square. Gladys Glover? You could make that into a musical! I said, “I got my own ideas.” “Sorry,” - closed the door.
I went to another guy and said, “Hey, (I) got an idea.” He said, ” I got the rights to a 1920 musical. You could update it for me. You know how.” I said, “I got my own idea.” What could I do?
Like everybody else, I ran to California (Los Angeles). I was there for about 3 years. I got my energy back up again. I can do a musical out here. A lot of them get started out there, right? OK, so I, I went to this big meeting. I had big meetings there, some big guys, 4 big men, they’re behind this big desk, and I said, “Hey, I got an idea!” Two of them got up, took me to a back room and … beat me up.
I, I crawled back to New York and I was in this room and there was this guy named Bob (producer Bob Avian) there. He said, uh, you know, he called me and wanted to do this show. I said, “I can’t do this show.” I liked it, but, I got my own idea.” and he said, “What is it?” I said, “Huh?” I said, “It’s about these three back-up singers, well they’re not really back-up singers. It’s starts with rhythm and blues, early ’60s, it’s about imilation. They’re listening, and they call this other guy, I didn’t know about him. His name is Michael (director/choreographer Michael Bennett). Michael came to me and he said, “Continue.” I said, “It’s about these three girl singers.” He said, “Is it a musical?” I said, “Yeah!” I said, uh, he said, “Well, where’s the music?” I said, I called up Henry (composer Henry Krieger). I said, “Henry, get over here. I got two live ones here!” Henry came running over. He played the score and Michael looked at Bob and said, “Well, let’s do it!” I said, “Huh?” and he said, “When do you wanna do it?” I said, “Oh, please now. It’s been 17 years. Please now!” They said, “OK, you go in a year.”
