Etnies or eS for skate shoes and WHY EXACTLY?

etnies suck man. i had sheckler 2’s and lasted not even a month. e’S are okay but suck on a durability level. go with emerica man, etnies even use to own them thats what the E stands for ( Etnies America =Emerica) they have the best board feel and durability. id suggest a pair of emerica spankys, fat laced or laced. or ar cruisers

Dont get etnies, they are more of a good looking shoe than a skate shoe. So eS’s would be best, but from personal experience, i always get an off brand of shoe, like avirex, and now i’m skating a pair of converse. they dont make me not able to skate, and they cost less so you can spend more on your board.

I tried some Etnies Callicut a few years ago and they didn’t have enough board feel. I have never skated eS, but both are from the same company, Sole Technology.

i would go for es’ personally. they are owned by the same parent company sole tech.
es’ has a purely skate team. just like emerica which is also owned by sole tech.
etnies is marketed towards the general public, people who want to look like they skate. they sponsor more than just skateboarders.
remember they are owned by skateboarders, unlike nike.
