Bad influence of Australian television, what should I do?

Posted on Jun 28, 2009 under kangaroo shoes |

My pet kangaroo Edward watched "Rocko's Modern Life" and now he wants to wear a blue shirt and orange shoes, and he talks about immigrating to the United States! And he is not a wallaby! I think that this cartoon is a bad influence since it encourages young marsupials to wear inappropriate clothing* and to immigrate overseas rather than to stay at home improving their own country. What should I do?
* they are easily spotted by predators while wearing orange shoes and blue shirts.

I say allow Edward to go to the US. It will not be long before he comes back with his tail between his legs. He will find out soon enough that what is shown on tv is not in fact real life. Sometimes you need to allow them to spread their wings and learn for themselves. For they know better than their elders and anything you say just will go in one ear and out the other.
Good luck and don't lock the back door for Edward will be hopping back home sooner than you'll be able to place a gumleaf between your lips and use it to whistle.

I think you should encourage him to emigrate. He will fit right in with the rest of the loonies.

Stick him in front of some old Skippy re-runs and teach him to have some respect and morals.
That's the problem with you people of today you let your wildlife run amok and harass tourists….DISCIPLINE !

Ban TV! What are you doing letting your young roo watch such shows? I mean really… what is the world coming to? Watch Skippy instead!

Why do you worry? There aren't predators out there else than those inside us. Watch out to its thoughts, you may be right just about this.
About the clothing way, there is of no importance - they are just costumes of characters in life for the same soul & mind.

Let it be free, not a pet. You'll have it back sooner than you may think, poor animal.

It's okay he's not a wallaby, he has his heart set in the right place!

Just make sure that when he gets to America, he gets a dog and names it Stinky, moves in next to two frogs called the Bigheads, and befriends a cow raised by wolves and a turtle with glasses who falls in love with a cat with a hook on her hand!

you should turn him into kangaroo steaks and chuck him on the barbie. then invite robbo and shazza over and sink some piss and then watch them have a biffo over whose turn it is to wear the flanelette shirt to bed tonight. that is what you should do.
