Do you think I have too much on my christmas list?
Posted on Nov 16, 2009 under off broadway shoes |I am a 14 year old girl from a lower middle class family. We are not rich, we are not poor, we have just enough to get my. This is what I am asking for this christmas (don’t worry I already have my list for what to buy others) but I’m worried it’s too much. I don’t want to be a spoiled brat and I know times are tough so I’m worried I might be asking for too much. What do you think?
-A cell phone (I will probably get a one of those free ones but my mom is making a 2 year plan with verizon for my sister, her, and i. we used to have one from t-mobile but it sucked so we are switching lol)
-A basketball bag (probably about $20-30 because I am getting my name on it)
-Boots (look-a-like Uggs from Off Broadway shoes for $35)
-Abercrombie sweater ($30)
-Athletic pants ($30 from Adidas)
-Books (depends on how many they get me, probably less than $10 each)
This is just from my parents. Do you think it is too much?
Not at all. Well, its a lot, but its a lot of things that are cheap, and things that you actually need. Very good list, unlike mine.

not at all. that’s about what’s on mine and my parents told me to ADD stuff to it, so i guess it just depends on your parent’s limits. but that seems reasonable

Christasm really isnt about the presents. There nice but its the thought that counts. The fact that your worried if you have to much is just silly. You put a wide variety o ntheir for them to choose. Dont get me wrong i have a lot on my list! Why get fake uggs when yoiu can get real ones. I found my 2nd pair on a camping website for like 40$ no joke so look around for some real ones. I got pink sweater uggs. Merry christmas and dont stress!!! Hes the reason for the season! All will work out!

I’d say that’s fair enough. Our family is the same as yours, not rich and not poor, and that’s about the same as what I want, price-wise.

Spread it out from person to person, so tell them to get you:
Parents: A cell phone & basketball bag
Grandparents: Boots & the sweater
Brothers/Sisters: Athletic pants or books
Good Luck!

I don’t know what your family does, but in mine there is a ‘Santa’ list a relatives list and a mom-and-dad list.
For ‘Santa do:
Books and A Basketball Bag
Again I don’t know about your family but I have a HUGE family (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.? But for them I would ask for:
A sweater and maybe more books
Finally for mom and dad ask:
Boots and Cell Phone and Athletic Pants
I want a puppy!

No but if you think its too much. Just get a rough estimate of your christmas money and think of what you can buy with that.
