DJ Scotty Boy has quickly emerged as one of Las Vegas’ most prolific & trusted DJs. His ability to adeptly play all types of music–from house to rock, funk, hip hop and beyond–separates Scotty Boy from his sin city peers.
Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Scotty Boy was best known as the “KROQ DJ.” For over 7 years, Scotty Boy played KROQ concerts and parties, and KROQ Nights all over the L.A. area. Mixing his blend of 80’s New Wave, House, Hip Hop and Rock, Scotty Boy landed a Saturday night mix show on KROQ in L.A., LIVE 105 in San Francisco and Party Radio in Phoenix for most of the 90’s.
In 2001, Scotty Boy was ready for a fresh scene and new musical opportunities that would open new doors. Viva Las Vegas! Scotty Boy spent his first year in Vegas as resident DJ at ghOstbar and Skin at the Palms, going on to open Tabu at the MGM Grand in 2003. These venues allowed Scotty to integrate his experience in rock with his love for house music, creating a daring format that has truly reinvented the soundscapes common in current Vegas clubs and Ultra lounges.
Scotty Boy is best known in Las Vegas for his residency at Drai’s Afterhours. It is at Drai’s where he was able to first express his passion for house music. Since Drais Scotty Boy’s residencies include Godskitchen @ Ice, Rehab @ The Hard Rock, Pleasuredome @ RA and AM afterhours @ Forty Deuce, just to name a few. Scotty Boy is also the music director and resident at Vivid @ inside The Venetian.
